Food Pantry Program
The RHCA Pantry Program exists to address food insecurity and improve community well-being by providing consistent access to nutritious, shelf-stable, and perishable foods for families in need.
Program Purpose and Vision
The pantry supports RHCA’s mission to “Serve Families and Strengthen Communities” by:
- Providing food assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardship.
- Connecting recipients with long-term resources (employment, financial counseling, and case management).
- Creating volunteer opportunities that engage the broader community in acts of service and compassion.
Program Objectives
- Provide free food assistance to at least 100 households monthly.
- Distribute food consistently on a monthly schedule (minimum first Saturday of each month).
- Maintain compliance with all ACFB partnership and food safety standards.
- Track program impact through accurate reporting and client intake records.
- Promote community collaboration and volunteer engagement.
Pantry Operations
The food pantry operates out of the Renaissance Church of Christ.
